Erin D. Shaffer of Conestoga, PA stepped from this life into the arms of her Savior on February 10, 2023.
She was the loving wife of Michael Shaffer and amazing mother of Kaden, 14, Silas, 9 and Adley, 6, who loved her deeply and will always carry her in their hearts.
She was born in Lancaster, PA on June 27, 1986 to Donna & Stuart Osborne, by whom, she was loved immensely and will be missed greatly.
Erin graduated in 2004 from Dayspring Christian Academy and attended H.A.C.C., briefly, studying nursing.
With her family, she attended Encounter Church, 300 Hideaway Drive in Quarryville.
Erin loved the Lord Jesus Christ, Whom she enjoyed worshipping freely. She and Adley would often dance through their kitchen to beautiful and lively worship songs. She attended a Bible Study in her neighborhood with a committed group of friends and neighbors.
She loved adventure and the outdoors, along with being a gifted decorator and artist.
She is survived by her husband and 3 children, along with her parents, maternal grandparents, Ken & Dottie Miller, her sister Jaime and brother Jared, along with a wonderful host of aunts and uncles, cousins and their spouses, nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss her greatly.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Encounter Church on Saturday, February 18, following a time of fellowship and visitation from 9 to 11 AM on the 18th.
Gifts can be made to Encounter Church, the Shaffer family fund for current and future needs. The family wishes to thank everyone for the outpouring of prayers and support during this difficult time.

Sheri Smith says
To the Osborne/Shaffer families-
I want to extend my deepest sympathies to you from the bottom of my heart. Erin and I met at HACC all those years ago, and were good friends. Between classes many days, we’d run to McDonalds in her car and sometimes split a 2 cheeseburger meal- we weren’t making a lot of cash those days as 18 year old students. It’s a fun memory I have of that time! Years have gone by and life got busy, but we still kept in touch and had planned to attend PTO meetings together this year, as our kids attend the same school. We saw each other everyday in the drop off line at school and would wave. I will always remember the last smile and wave I got from Erin. I am so very sorry for these current circumstances in which you find yourselves, and the unspeakable pain you must be feeling. I am praying fervently for you and the children, that He will wrap you in comfort, and the peace only Jesus can provide. My heart is so broken for you all.
I am available to help in any way I can, I am your neighbor up the road. ❤️
With Love and Prayers,
Sheri Smith, Ben, and girls

Stuart and Donna ,
Your dear Erin ❤️ was in my first fifth grade class at Dayspring. (1996-1997). I so clearly remember her sweetness and gentle smile as well as the crazy fun she and others had making up a dance to the Newsboys’ “Shine.” Larry and I are praying much for you, Jamie, Jared, and the rest of your family: peace in the midst of such pain.

Our deepest condolences to Michael, Erin’s husband, children, parents & siblings. And the rest of her family.
Erin helped in our business throughout the year. She was a joy to have around. Always with a smile, a great helper!
We were in touch last week, making plans for the Spring. I mentioned to her we loved having her in our team the prior year. She seemed very excited to work with us again. We were also making plans to go on a double-date soon.
We are very saddened to hear of her passing. Still in disbelief!
Please let us know if there’s anything we can do to help somehow.
We pray upon you our sweet Lord’s comfort & his peace that surpasses all understanding , as you learn to navigate life without her.
We are so very sorry for your loss!
Gabby & Daniel Morrison.

We are so grateful to have known Erin and recall fondly how welcomed you and Erin made us feel when we first moved to Buck Run. Karen is so thankful for the times that she and our grandson Jude spent with Erin and the kids, playing with all the toys in the garage and on the swing set in the yard.
In times of grief and loss, Faith is our greatest support. We too are here to support you and the kids for anything needed.

We got to know Donna a little and loved her, as does everyone who’s met her!
We also have a daughter with Jesus .
What a comfort it has been to know that she is “absent from the body, present with the Lord”!
