Edwin Delgado Diaz

Edwin Delgado Diaz, age 59 of Lancaster, passed away on August 20, 2026.

Born on August 24, 1965, in Patillas, Puerto Rico, Edwin was the son of Carmelo Delgado and Rosa Garcia Diaz. He later made his home in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Edwin was loved by his family and is survived by his children, Edwin Rivera Delgado, Dale Delgado, Alyssa Delgado, Destiny Delgado and Alex Delgado, along with their families. Also surviving are nine siblings; Luis, Lucy and Maribel Garcia, Evelyn, Armando and Carlos Delgao, Magaly Gray, Rosita Megginson and Jocelyn Suarez as well as nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Evelise Delgado, who passed away two years ago.

Edwin will be remembered by his family and friends for the many memories they shared with him throughout his life. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at DeBord Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory 141 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA 17602 on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at 1:00 PM. A viewing will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
