Doris E. (Hess) Hagelgans, 85 , of Lampeter passed away Feb 3, 2024. Doris was born in Lancaster in 1938 to Erma M. Graham and Harry R. Hess of Strasburg.
Doris was a graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School and worked at Lancaster Newspapers in her early years. She cared for her parents in their later years.
Doris was married to Harold H. Hagelgans Jr. for over 65 years. They had two daughters, Dorothy Swinehart and Donna Russell and a granddaughter Sarenah Swinehart.
Doris will be cremated and laid to rest in Conestoga Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
