Dale Fulmer

W. Dale Fulmer went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 31, 2026 at Trillium Place in Lancaster. Born in his family home in Neffsville on August 13, 1937, he was the son of Chester and Blanche (Stumpf) Fulmer. Dale was the husband of Gwyn (Howell) Fulmer. They celebrated 70 years of marriage in October 2025.

Dale was a member of the Manheim Township High School, Class of 1955. After graduating, he served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. Dale was employed by R.R. Donnelley for 40 years. He was also the faithful and meticulous caretaker for the Long Memorial United Methodist Church Cemetery in Neffsville for 44 years. A lifelong Philadelphia sports fan, Dale enjoyed running, biking,woodworking, completing home projects andtaking family trips to Ocean City, NJ. He had a heart for visiting shut ins and the elderly andwas a member of Son Light Bible Church.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, Gwyn, is a daughter, Linda, wife of Lawrence Mylin, Columbia and three sons, Mark husband ofKaren (Groff) Landisville; Steven, husband ofMelissa (Plank) Lititz and Brian husband ofPamela (Buffenmyer) Lancaster. Also surviving are five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren as well as a sister, June Lowery, Cincinnati,Ohio and a brother, Jay Fulmer, Narvon.

A family grave site service was held at Long Memorial United Methodist Church Cemetery.
