Clyde Huse Groah

Clyde Huse Groah age 83 of Lancaster passed away November 27, 2025 at Providence Place. Born in Lancaster PA, he was the son of the late Clarence Huse and Emily J. "Lee" Groah of Lancaster. Mr. Groah graduated from Manheim Township High School, Neffsville, Pa. and Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown PA.

Working in the graphic arts industry for 40 years, he was employed for 35 years by R.R. Donnelley & Sons Co. (Steel Way Plant), Lancaster PA. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Lancaster and was active in the church "Discovery/Recovery" outreach ministry to those recovering from numerous addictions.

Mr. Groah was a volunteer for various local animal rescue and rights organizations, being actively  involved in "trap, spay, neuter, release" release programs for homeless farrell cats. Much happiness was derived from his many wonderfully devoted pets during his lifetime. He enjoyed bicycle riding on rail trails in Lancaster and surrounding counties.

He was preceded in death by a daughter Gina M., and is survived by a son, Christopher Huse Groah, Lancaster, daughters, Christine H. Groah Glen Allen Va., Cheryl R. Groah, Burbank CA., and Cameron L. Groah, Bozeman MT., and granddaughter Sophia M. May, Bozeman MT., and the blessings of many beautiful and intimate friendships.

Private interment will be held in the Lititz Moravian Cemetery Lititz PA.
