Clair “Whitey” M. White

Clair “Whitey” M. White, 96, went home to be with the Lord on February 7, 2026. He spent the last 8 years at Pleasant View Communities in Manheim. He was the son of the late Ira M. Sr. and Mary Martin White. He was the loving husband of the late Ruth B. White who died in 2022.

Clair was property caretaker for Dr. Richard Mann and Dr. Wendell Funk. Earlier in life he enjoyed farming at The Mann Farms. He was a member of Living Light Mennonite Church.

Surviving are children Lois, Ruthie (Magdy), Martha (Dale), Daniel (Sarah) and John (Marcia); 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Sisters Mary and Janet, 2 sisters-in-laws, Thelma and Arlene and brother Clyde (Norma). He was preceded in death by brothers, Ira Jr., Ken, Paul and Glen and by sisters Dorothy, Arlene and Doris.

The family wishes to thank Pleasant View and Hospice Care from Masonic Village for their care given to Clair.

A celebration of Clair’s life will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Living Light Mennonite Church, 2626 Safe Harbor Road, Washington, Boro, PA. Friends may visit with family from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Private interment. Kindly omit flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Living Light Compassion Fund.
