Charles A. Kraft, 72, of Mifflin, PA and formerly of Lancaster, PA, died Saturday March 27, 2010. Born in Lancaster, PA he was the son of the late Edward C. Sr. and Anna McMillen Kraft. He was a 1956 graduate of McCaskey High School. Charlie spent most of his life as an auto mechanic at various locations in Lancaster. He retired from Empire Chicken in Mifflintown, PA and was a former member of First Reformed UCC in Lancaster. Charlie was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is survived by a brother Gordon A. husband of Yvonne Leggett Kraft of Lancaster, PA. Two sisters, Susan K. wife of Curtis C. Huston of Norristown, PA and Christine K. wife of Robert E. Diehl of Conestoga, PA. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother Edward C. Kraft, Jr. and two sisters, Mary Ann Williams and Karen L. Kraft.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial service from the Kearney A. Snyder Funeral Home, 141 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA on Wednesday, March 31st at 11:00 a.m. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Please omit flowers. Contributions in Charlie’s memory may be sent to First Reformed United Church of Christ, 40 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA 17602.
