Carol K Stouffer

Carol K Stouffer, 80, a longtime resident of the Willow Valley Retirement Community, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2024, after a 16-month battle with acute myeloid leukemia. Carol retired from DuPont Corporation, Wilmington, Delaware, where she had a long career as a chemical physicist and later an international patent attorney. In her retirement, Carol enjoyed portraying both historical and fictitious characters in a variety of venues including the Wilmington and Western Railroad, DuPont Estates, and children’s hospitals. She will be sadly missed by her close circle of friends who were continually impressed by her vast knowledge of most every topic, and by the stories of her fascinating and adventurous life.
