Bonnie L. Hanna, 77, of Lancaster, passed away on September 3, 2026, at Penn Medicine, Lancaster General Health. She was the loving wife of 41 years to the late Samuel L. Hanna.
Born in Lancaster on September 12, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Faltine and Margaret (Laube) Faltine. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her older brother Joseph.
Bonnie graduated from J.P. McCaskey High School. She worked as a shift manager at Tyco Electronics and retired from there after 30+ years of service.
In her spare time, she loved spending time with her family, playing with her two dogs aka “the girls”, and thrifting. Her fun-loving attitude plus a touch of ornery and her sweet, caring nature are surely to be immensely missed by anyone that knew her.
Bonnie is survived by her only daughter, Tanya L. (Hanna), wife of Brent Steigerwald, as well as two grandchildren, of which she truly adored, Zachary “Joey” and Sarah. Also surviving is her sister Deborah Faltine, wife of John Shepherd, and her niece Erin; in addition to many other loving family members and friends. She is loved beyond words, missed beyond measure, and will be forever in our hearts. We are so blessed and grateful for the time we got to spend with her.
Services will be held privately at the family’s request.
