Beverly A. Leakway

Beverly A. Leakway, of Lancaster, died Friday, January 11, 2013 following a brief illness.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Linwood E. and Katherine A. Mateya Lang.

Beverly retired from PP&L, where she had been employed as a secretary, after 31 years of employment.  She enjoyed the company of her dog, Sophie, decorating, and reading mystery stories.  She was of the Protestant faith.

Beverly was a loving mother and mother-in-law and will be greatly missed by her family.

Surviving are two daughters, Renae Leakway-Groff wife of Matthew Groff of Italy, and Elizabeth Leakway of Lancaster; two sisters, Linda Fritsch of Philadelphia and Ginger wife of Bob Binderup of Lancaster; and two brothers, Linwood R. Lang of Lancaster, and Ken husband of Liza Lang of Lancaster.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, January 21, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Landisville Mennonite Cemetery, Camp Meeting Road, Landisville, PA.
