Betty W. Hohn, 87, of Lancaster, a loving and caring mother, died Sunday, May 23, 2010 at Lancaster General Hospital.

Born April 27, 1923 in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Anna Wisner Wagner.

Mrs. Hohn was a homemaker who earlier in life had worked at the Armstrong Closure Plant. She was a charter member of the Holy Spirit Lutheran Church in Lancaster. She was an avid Baltimore Orioles fan, enjoyed all sports, and cooking for her family.

Surviving is a daughter, Cher wife of Tim Breneisen of Lancaster; a son, Bob husband of Terry Hohn of Landisville; five grandchildren, Laurie wife of James Sinopoli of Lancaster, Andrea Breneisen of Lancaster, Jeremy Hohn fiance of Whitney Baumunk of Baltimore, Jamie Hohn of Lancaster, and Jonathan Hohn of Landisville; one great grandson, Brenden Sinopoli; and a sister, Jane Singer of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by siblings, Pauline Worman, Marian Slaugh and Earl Wagner.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. at the Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, 3131 Columbia Ave., Lancaster, PA with the Rev. Richard Jorgensen officiating. Friends may call at the Kearney A. Snyder Funeral Home, 141 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA on Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. and at the church on Thursday from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Lancaster, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name may be made to the Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, 3131 Columbia Ave., Lancaster, PA 17603.
