Barry L. Smith, 65, of Mt. Joy, PA died Sunday, May 11, 2014 at home. He was the husband of Karen Heming Smith with whom he would have celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary in July.

Mr. Smith retired from Burnham Corporation in 2008. He was an avid Steelers Fan, enjoyed bowling, casinos, computer games and family time.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children: Tracy L. Smith of Lancaster, Tara, wife of Matthew Musselman of Mt. Joy, and Eric, husband of Cheryl Smith of Dallastown, PA; two grandchildren: Katelyn Musselman and Brendan Smith; three brothers, John Smith, Charles, husband of Stephanie Smith and James, husband of Rosemary Smith; and one sister, Ella Mae, wife of Richard Kilheffer. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert Frey, and three sisters, Helen Lenhart, Anna Mary Kline and Betty Smith Manos.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation from Richard A. Sheetz Funeral Home, 2024 Marietta Ave., Lancaster, PA on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 P.M.

Please omit flowers. If desired memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice and Community Care, 685 Good Drive, P.O. 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
