Barbara Ann Nettke, 59, of Lancaster, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late John Fryberger and Emma Dombach Sheely, wife of the late Lloyd Sheely.
Barbara worked as an office manager at Childcraft in Mount Joy. She loved animals, especially her 3 cats. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and trips to the beach.
She is survived by: 2 sons, Mark husband of Cindy Nettke, Kerrick husband of Tracey Zug Nettke; 3 grandchildren, Derrek, Tyler, and Alexa Nettke; 3 step-grandchildren, Amber, Ashley, and Nicole Rohrer; 2 brothers, Bill Sheely and Mike Sheely; a half-sister, Susan Woelfle.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Cliff Sheely.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Transplant Foundation c/o Gift of Life Donor Program, 401 North 3rd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123. Arrangements by the Kearney A. Snyder Funeral Home.
