Arthur E. Grannell

Arthur E. Grannell of Mountville, PA, entered into eternal paradise on Sunday January 9, 2022. Art was born on August 14

th

, 1944, in Lancaster PA, to the late Bernard L. Grannell and Pauline L. (Matthews) Grannell. He spent much of his life living in Pennsylvania and working in various professions inspired by his diverse personal interests. A life-long learner, tinkerer, and builder, Art enjoyed the personal study of American history and politics, as well as the Christian church; working on cars and auto-racing in his younger days; and building hi-fi audio speakers and amplifiers– for the love of music.

Art was the loving and caring husband to Barb Grannell, with whom he cherished 37 years of laughter, joy, and marriage. He enjoyed traveling, especially to Maine to visit his childhood home, and to Washington, to spend time with his brother and family. He will be remembered by friends and family for his sense of humor and congeniality.

He is survived by his son Matthew L. Grannell of Lynchburg, VA, and his wife Shea Whitney-Grannell, and their three children, Harper, Semona, and Jade, whom Art loved dearly. He is also survived by his brother and friend, Dana B. Grannell, and wife, Mary Ann, of Spokane, WA., and nephews Bradford Grannell and Roy Grannell and their families.

The family will celebrate his life on Friday, January 14
