Almadine Mcdonnell
Almadine McDonnell, 86, of Lancaster, died Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at the Golden Living Center.
She was the wife of the late Paul R. McDonnell, Sr. who died in 1993. Born in Marietta, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Martha B. Barrick Kibler.
Mrs. McDonnell had worked many years at Central Paper and Box and then in retirement worked part-time in the bake shop at Ferguson and Hassler in Quarryville.
Surviving are two sons, Paul R., Jr. husband of Marie McDonnell of New Providence, and Emanuel S., Sr. husband of Edith McDonnell of Lancaster; five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, a brother and a grandson.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 27, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Riverview Burial Park, S. Duke St., Lancaster, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Hospice of Lancaster County, 685 Good Drive, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
