Nicholas W. Szkola

Nicholas W. Szkola, 61, of Lancaster, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Hospice of Lancaster County. Born in Crisfield, MD, he was the son of the late Marion and Naomi Wilson Szkola. He was the wife of Deborah Bloom Szkola.

Nicholas worked as a plumber for various companies in the area. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Lancaster.

In addition to wife, he will be lovingly missed by: 2 sisters, Pamela wife of Don Rund and Denise wife of Bob Uhlhorn, both of Maryland; several cousins, including Wayne husband of Zita Angelo of Marietta; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held from the First United Methodist Church, corner of Duke and Walnut streets, Lancaster, PA on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at 5 PM. The family will visit with friends from 4 to 5 PM at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Hospice of Lancaster County P.O. Box 4125 Lancaster, PA 17604-4125 or to First United Methodist Church 29 E. Walnut St. Lancaster, PA 17602
