To the Amico Family I was so shocked and sadened to see that Mr. Amico has passed away. What a great photo thats in the paper. It brings back fond memories, because I would usually be sitting in the lunch room, when Mr. Amico would arrive for the day. He always had time to say Hi to those in the room, before moving on, he always would ask me, about fires etc. and above all he had that big smile, like the photo shows. I very much respected Mr. Amico he was always firm but always fare, in the way he treated his employees. Many of the things i learned from him, i used in performing my duties as a fire chief. Thats why i gave him the nick name THE CHIEF. I will try and make the service on Friday, Iam currently my Moms caregiver, she stays at home most of the time. In any event my thoughts and prayers are with you all in you time of sadness .

Fondly remembering the boss of my first “real” job. Thank you for having confidence in me and blessing me with many opportunities at the store and even at your home. Your willingness to employ me through high school and every summer and college break until I was married demonstrates your commitment to helping someone else. Thank you Mr Amico (I never could call you Mike) and Edith!

Edith, Kim, Heidi, Frank I pray for you in your time of sorrow.
