Marty S. Belville, 50, of Lancaster, passed away on June 15, 2020 at his home.  He was the loving husband of Regina (Marshall) Belville.

After graduating from high school, Marty went on to work for First Student originally as a part time bus driver and worked his way up to be a manager of his own location. He made many friends over the years living by one of his favorite saying it’s not always what you know but who you know.

In his spare time, Marty enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR, camping and other outdoor activities; coaching his children’s sports teams including baseball, cheerleading, soccer, umpiring men’s and women’s softball games and most of all spending time with his adoring family.

In addition to his wife, Regina, and his mother, Jil, he is survived by children; Keegen Belville, Korissa Belville,  Kalea Barstow (wife of Zach) and Kyler Belville.  Also surviving are his siblings, Tami Smith (wife of the late Leon), Rick Belville (husband of Melinda) and Todd Belville.

Viewing and Funeral Services were private for the immediate family with interment in Mellinger’s Mennonite Cemetery.  Contributions in Marty’s memory may be made to:  American Cancer Society.

Marty and I went to the same high school, I remember his funny humor and his passion for living his life to the fullest. When I heard the news I had to dig out my yearbook and take a trip down memory lane.
May you find comfort in your memories and love between each other.

It has been years since I’ve seen Marty. We were only acquaintances. But this I can tell you with authority: Marty Belville is a pleasant, humble, and generous soul. A soul that lived and loved for his family. I coached on the opposite side of the field from him, and was involved in talking to him 20 to 30x over the years. He made an impression, and I respected and admired him for it.

May his memory be eternal

Condolence from Brenda Anderson on June 18th, 2020 10:31 am

Marty will be missed by all who knew him. He was funny, caring, animated and bubbly. You couldn’t have a bad day at work because he would always be joking and smiling. I remember my first farm show I did haha, I was so confused on the routine and route to take, but Marty was so cool, calm and understanding. He made it a point to recognize everyone. And his passion for kiddos and his job were commendable. My thoughts and prayers go out to his entire family. May you find peace and strength in the time ahead . My deepest sympathy. # FirstStudent #93

Condolence from Jared S. on June 19th, 2020 12:30 pm

Marty was my baseball coach from kindergarten through 3rd grade. He had the natural ability to make everyone laugh. My memories from such a young age solidify that he truly was larger than life. I remember another time some years later when he chaperoned a school field trip. I remember laughing hysterically as we were canoeing in the park, and Marty began to comically rock the boat in a feigned panic. My heart goes out to the family during this time.

Although I only knew Marty for a little over a year, he has left a lasting impression that will never be forgotten. He always made me smile and brightened the room each time he walked in. He was a man of great character and he will be deeply missed. I’m so sorry for your loss.

Condolence from Tami D Smith on June 25th, 2020 1:17 pm

As Marty’s big sister living out-of-state, I wasn’t as involved in Marty’s life as many of you were–so I’ve totally appreciated reading all of these genuine statements about Marty’s soul. I had the opportunity to be with Marty and his family just before he passed and all’s I can say is that it was a complete honor. My mom and I felt emotionally charged by Marty’s loving family, and while we all shared the grief together, the moments were really focused on love and a celebration of Marty’s life. I’ve returned home and find myself inspired to be a better person! I love you and will miss you, little brother! But thank you. You did so good. Hugs and prayers to you all Regina, Keegan & Kasey, Kalea & Zach, Korissa, and Kyler.
