    Dear family of Marjorie,
I have been driving the yellow route shuttle bus at Willow Valley for 20 years. Your mother and dad both rode my bus and more recently your mother. She was on the bus just several weeks ago. She was such a trooper and always brought a smile to my face when I would see her coming out of Manor North to take a ride, usually to Darrenkamp’s Market to purchase a few groceries. She loved to ride the bus even if it was just to take a ride. She was such an inspiration to me to see her determination to keep going. I will truly miss her sweet smile and our friendly chats. My love and sympathy to your family at this difficult time.

We were so sorry to learn of Marjorie’s death. Right now Susan, Kathy and I are gathered in Pennsylvania because our father Hendrik died also on Friday Jan 24th.

He was 96. He often told us of the fun times that he, David, Marjorie, and Joe had together as children. One story that comes to mind is an occasion when the four of them got to go up in a small airplane. Apparently Marjorie and Dad were considered responsible and Marjorie had to go up with David and Dad with Joe because Joe and David had to be kept in line by more responsible siblings. Dad would have preferred to have gone up with Marjorie but he was over ruled. We know you will miss your mother as much as we miss our dad.
