Find Lucille’s passing so very hard to believe–wasn’t it only a short time ago I was practicing cheerleading moves with Pat and Lucille on the front porch of Uncle Bill and Lib’s house in Lancaster? We are so very sorry……love to you all.

Bruce, Cathy, & Family:

We were shocked & saddened to read in today’s paper of Lucille’s passing. She was a kind-hearted, fun, caring person with whom we’ve shared some great times & we know how heartbroken you must be at, what appears to be, a devastatingly sudden loss.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to attend her memorial service tomorrow afternoon (granddaughter Liz & her cheer squad are performing at halftime at the Navy game in Annapolis) but please know our thoughts & prayers will be with you all.

With our sincerest & deepest sympathies,
Dave & Pam

Dear Denny,
The world has lost a talented lady when Lucy left. I’ve enjoyed being around her at the B.D. parties for Karen and Jenna. She played with the girls on their level as did you. I have been Blessed to have known her and you.
Remember the song “Pennies From Heaven” when you find coins on the floor and outside…you’ll know it’s her!…
Many Blessings to you and the whole family!

We believe God’s will was done, sweet cousin. Farewell. We see you bound for glory–as it should be. you lived the confusing, giving life of wife, mother, grandmother well. You led many others to become better people. May your sweetness and light be gathered and used by those behind. From this day forward, “blessed are the meek” will remind us of you.

Was 2 years behind Lucy in School. Met up with her 2 years ago via her frienship with a friend of mine from Lancaster Co Garden Club. We traveled to NYC and it was a lovely day. So shocked and saddened by her unexpected passing. Life is fragile.

Condolence from Marilynn Tshudy Guyer on November 18th, 2014 8:53 am

‘Just attended our 50th High school reunion, and was so sorry to hear that Lucy was ill. I was so looking forward to seeing her and catching up. We were close friends at Lock Haven in the mid sixties, and I have always loved her joy and enthusiasm for life. I regret not knowing of her death in time to attend her service. My sympathies to Pat and Bruce, and to her husband and children. She is in my thoughts and prayers. Marilynn Tshudy Guyer
