After graduating from J.P. McCaskey, Lois was employed as a shipping clerk by R.C.A., Burle Industries and General Electric, retiring in 1989. She proudly served her country in the U.S. Navy from 1949-1952. Her patriotism continued as she wore many hats in her service as a volunteer for AMVETS, Navy Club, United Veterans Council of Lancaster County, and the Veterans Administration just to name a few.
Her survivors include a son, Carl F., husband of Debra Ressel of Lancaster and her grandchildren, Mark and Rheannon Ressel and Brook, wife of Stan Johnson; and 6 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Judith E. Ressel and a sister, Joanne Wagner.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a funeral from Kearney A. Snyder Funeral Home, 141 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA on Saturday, March 17th at 1:00 P.M. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12 noon until the time of service. Interment in Riverview Cemetery.
