
June K. Smith, 77, of Lancaster, died Friday, July 31, 2015 at Hospice and Community Care in Mount Joy.
She was the wife of Daniel C. Smith. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin H.E. and Ella Wiker Kroft.
June was a homemaker and a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Elks Lodge #134 and enjoyed bowling there in the Duck Pin league.
Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Richard K. husband of Carol Smith, and Robert D. Smith both of Lancaster; and a sister, Mae D. wife of Rodney C. McCray of Middletown.
A Viewing will be held at the DeBord Snyder Funeral Home, 141 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA on Wednesday, August 5, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Following the viewing, the Elks will conduct a service at 8:00 P.M. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Hospice and Community Care, 685 Good Drive, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
