Condolence from Diana (Carter) Knouff on September 2nd, 2015 8:24 am

To the Anderson family; My deepest condolences to all of you. Joan was like a second mother to all of us that grew up on Big Bend. Her smile always brightened up a room. I would come over to your house to get our extra key when I locked my self out of our house and she would always want me to come in and eat something she just made. My prayers and thoughts are with you all during this tough time. Please do not hesitate to reach out for some good old walk down memory lane talks. XOXOXO Diana, your old Big Bend neighbor.

My sincerest condolences go out to all of your family members. She was one of the kindest , sweetest women I have ever known, always concerned about “the other” person even in the midst of her illnesses! I am so glad I got to see her in the home; we had a lovely visit. She was certainly one of “the Ladies” and I will truly miss her. Wishing you all health and strength at this difficult time. EMMA

Condolence from Brian and Vicki Humphreys on September 2nd, 2015 9:05 pm

Remembering well how your mom (and dad) took us into the Anderson fold when we met Christine in California. Our favorite memory is when she stayed with us and ironed Brian’s graduation gown. She was a mother to many! I Vicki) love having some of her recipes. They are always the ones people ask for. May you be comforted by her faith in Christ and how much she loved you.
With love and sympathy,
Brian and Vicki Humphreys

To the Anderson Family:

I was secretary to Wes (Revie) at Bethany Presbyterian Church for some years and loved every moment. I remember his loving tales of his wife, and enjoyed talking with her when I could. We could not be at the services, but were there in thought and prayer. You had wonderful parents and saying goodbye is hard. But promise of Life Eternal is ours, and you will meet again. Our love to you.
