I remember her as a little girl at Community Bible Fellowhip Church in NJ. Hearing her name always brought a warmth to my heart as she was always so kind & sweet! Your family is in my prayers! <3
Mrs. Snell was a wonderful role model of love. Her gentle, humble manner exhibited her sincere care for those around her. I am grateful to her for the way she influenced my parents, particularly, my mother.
Her handwriting was extraordinarily beautiful. She was genuine in her care for friends by taking good the time to send encouraging words.
Thank you, Mrs Snell for leaving good footprints.
Ed, Kathy, Nate and family…..praying for you all. It is hard to say goodbye to our loved ones, but knowing that a heavenly reunion awaits provides some comfort. With Love….Jeanette Moyer…..aka Jeannie Markuson
May the Lord comfort your family. I appreciated Joan’s teaching of the ladies’ Sunday school class and her kindness to our family at Lancaster Grace while you attended there.
To Scott ,Nate, Crystal, Eb, Kathi and family: Your wife and mother has been an ever present dear friend to me all through the years since Howell BFC. when I met her, and she is still “ever present”. I feel so near to her. I don’t feel the separation so much, but it still is very hard to know I will not see her smiling face until we meet again in Heaven It was always a special day when I saw her special handwriting on an envelope in the mail. I will be comforted with the Afghan she sent me this winter. You are all dear to me as she was. Please keep in touch. peacheymom@windstream,net/154 Wylan Terrace, Summerville, Ga. 30747/ 706-859-2143. A thought came to me sometime around the 24th or before (not sure which) that I wanted to tell her “if she “went HOME before me to please save a seat for me beside her in the Garden”. I feel sure she is doing that and it makes me smile (Is that a “coincidence?) I Love you all I send many Blessings your way Think HEAVEN when we’ll all be together again. Till then. I send all my love. Marilyn Chagrin
You may publish my Email, etc. which is IN the condolence.
Scott and boys, We are so sorry to hear the passing of Joan. We were so shocked when we received the news and sadly to say, it was way after the fact. Our deepest sympathies and we pray for peace and comfort for all of the family. She was a great lady and I know she will be greatly missed.
