Jean was a good friend of my mother’s at Luther Acres for many years. I continued to keep in touch with Jean after my parents both passed away at Christmas and birthday. I was just getting her birthday card ready to mail when I was sorry to see her obituary. I always enjoyed our phone visits.

    Dear Michael and Susan,
Your parents lived next door to my parents (the Marvel’s) for many years on Vincent Lane in Wichita. What a wonderful and lasting friendship they had! Jean was so kind, generous, and welcoming.

In May 1996 my Mom, sister, and I made to trip to PA to visit my birthplace (Lancaster), and of course the trip would not have been complete without a trip to Lititz. What a wonderful tour we were given of the beautiful Amish country. Your Mom was a gracious hostess. . . . . She was diligent about staying in touch in the ensuing years. . . . . She was a blessing to many!
Wishing you comfort, Love, and support !
