I just learned of Jan’s graduation. During the time of Jan’s transition, my mother Ruth Kleinman was also in transition, passing on July 1. Over the past several months she spoke often to me concerning both of you, with great respect and love. I pray that you, Walt, will find your way through the grief to an even greater awareness of God’s grace and love and that your heart will be comforted knowing that you will see her again.

Dear Walter, Daniel, David, and Donald,

My thoughts and prayers are with you today as you share fond memories of Jan.

I loved working with Jan at Deerfield. She was such an understanding, positive, member of our team. And, she even laughed at my jokes! Those were wonderful days.

    May she rest in Peace.
