You have my sympathy. I work at Woodcrest Villa as a receptionist, and always appreciated Jim and Dorothy. Dorothy’s name was Dorothy Mae like mine, and we talked about that several times. Once when I was counting money, Jim gave me some advice on how to do it properly since he worked at a bank all his life. They were such nice people, always so friendly. My condolences to you.
    Love,
    Dot Hess

To the Daughters & Family of James Deily,

I well remember your parents as young members of Bethany Presbyterian Church. I remember you as young children who were regular attendees at Sunday School. I believe your father was active in the adult Sunday School, an elder of our church and was a banking officer in Lancaster. Your mother was a teacher, and both of your parents were wonderful in the giving of their time and leadership to church and community. You were fortunate to be part of a family where those values were stressed.

I send to you deepest sympathy in the loss of your father.
    Most sincerely,
    Deborah Benson Everett

    To “Mike” and Minda

I extend my sympathy and condolences on the passing of your father. He was a good boss, a good associate (he always insisted we were a team), a great leader, a good teacher and a very good friend.

He taught me a lot about Trust, Commercial Banking, and life in general. I will always remember Barbara and my trips to New York City with your mother and father in February each year to the Trust Conference. Two Broadway Shows and Radio City Music Hall in three nights.

    My heartfelt sympathy,
    Bill Fisher
