He was one month to the day older then me. I remember him when we were younger and always felt a connection with him even though we lost contact for 60 years. I’m sorry to hear he passed on. God will bless him.

Thinking of your family. I worked at the Eden, and Harry would come in every morning for breakfast, and to just hangout with all of us. He always talked about his girls, his family, and of course his wife who was his world. He was the kindest, caring, gentleman I’ve ever met. He will truly be missed by the Eden family and myself! May he rest in peace.

Maureen Beckwell Harrison
Rusty (family name) was one of 25first cousins on the Beckwell side of the family. I enjoyed a
close family friendship with him and am aware that he suffered greatly
with many serious illnesses. But, I am saddened that his two sisters, Anne Shriver and Marion
Bievenour were not mentioned in the obituary. I have witnessed their steadfast devotion to
him during many difficult times. Losing a loved one is a time for peace, love and forgiveness.
My deepest sympathy to his four beloved daughters.
Marti Booth and Ward Mapes
Both Harry and Kris would drive our family members to either the Harrisburg or Philadelphia airports. After years of picking us up or dropping us off, we truly came to know one another quite well and were so fond of the two of them. Harry and Kris were such wonderful and kind people.
Please know our thoughts are with all of you.

Harry was a classic & well-liked manager at Conestoga Country Club where I had the pleasure & first hand knowledge of both his friendship & wit. His comedic timing was a major personality trait which I’m sure will be missed by all who knew him. The photo which accompanied this obituary was truly Harry.
My best to his children & their children & their children.
We all lost a great one.
