Emma S. Beiler

In Memorial

Emma S. Beiler, 78, of Lancaster, died peacefully on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at Hospice of Lancaster County in Mount Joy.   She was married 52 years to Jacob R. Beiler. Born October 13, 1932 in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late John F. and Malinda E. Stoltzfus Stoltzfus. Emma was a homemaker and a member of the Spring Garden Amish Mennonite Church. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and had always looked forward to going out to breakfast with her sisters. Surviving besides her husband are two daughters, Martha L. wife of Amos S. Riehl of Kinzers, and Freda A. wife of Amos L. Lapp of Lancaster; two sons, John N. husband of Lori Stoltzfus Beiler of Lancaster, and David J. husband of Keturah King Beiler of Lancaster; 10 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, three brothers, Eli S. husband of Katie King Stoltzfus of Madisonburg, John S. husband of Marian Shonk Stoltzfus of Lancaster, and Amos J. husband of Fannie Stoltzfus Stoltzfus of Penn Yan, NY; one sister, Ada S.  Fisher of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Elmer L. Beiler, by four brothers, Daniel S. Stoltzfus,  Henry S. Stoltzfus, Levi S. Stoltzfus and Benuel S. Stoltzfus, and by seven sisters, Mattie S. Stoltzfus, Rachel S. Smoker, Rebecca S. Stoltzfus, Mary S. King, Malinda S. Fisher, Sarah S. Fisher, and Katie S. Fisher. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 25, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at the Spring Garden Amish Mennonite Church, 5197 Old Philadelphia Pike, Kinzers, PA with the Rev. Henry K. Fisher, Rev. Elmer Fisher and Rev. Amos Fisher officiating. Friends may call at the church on Sunday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Interment in the Myer’s Cemetery, Leola, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Emma’s memory may be made to Hospice of Lancaster County, 685 Good Drive, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125. Arrangements by the Kearney A. Snyder Funeral Home.
