After Glow
“I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one. I’d like to leave an after glow of smiles when life is done, I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, Of happy times and laughing times and bright and summer days. I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun, Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.”

My thoughts and prayers are with you xo

Doug Manning, minister, counselor, etc. explains the loss of a loved one at this time in this manner and sharing the sadness you feel we pray his words give you peace in the future.
“Grief is a journey…Memories at first are painful and every memory breaks our hearts. Gradually they help us establish the significance of our love and our loss. In time, our memories become our most precious possession and our loved one is reborn inside of our hearts.

Dottie was five year older than me and took care of me as a child. Truly my “big sister.“ I have fond memories of those early years. She was the most gentle person I ever knew. And she raised three remarkable children. Don, Dion and I will miss her laugh and her kindness.

Condolence from Nadia on October 2nd, 2018 5:49 pm

To Mrs. Hershey’s family, I’m very sorry for your loss. No matter how much time passes we still feel the loss of our loved ones and view death as God does, an enemy. (1 Corinthians 15:26) May you find comfort and hope in his promise at Revelation 21:3,4 that shows soon there will be no more death, sickness, or pain, and we can see our lost loved ones again. Please accept my deepest condolences.
