Betty L. Salm

Betty L. Salm, 92, of Lancaster, passed away on June 7, 2019 at Moravian Manor.  She was the loving wife of the late Robert W. Salm who preceded her in death in 1973.

Born in Lancaster, PA, she was the daughter of the late Landis O. and Catherine (Otthofer) Morrison.

She spent much of her professional career as a bank teller.

In her spare time, Betty enjoyed bowling and was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling, cooking, sewing, knitting, and spending time with her dogs.

She is survived by her four daughters, Leslie Graham (wife of Phillip) of Willow Street, PA, Patricia (Trish) Sinclair-Bairos (wife of Joseph Alexandre’) of Mount Joy, PA, Kathleen Lyet (wife of Paul) of Lititz, PA and Connie Lee McCarthy of Mount Joy, PA.  Also surviving are eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at DeBord Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 141 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA 17602 on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at 11:00 AM.  A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.  Interment will be private in Riverview Burial Park.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mrs. Salm’s memory may be made to Hospice & Community Care, 685 Good Dr., P.O.     I’m so sorry for your loss Connie, Kathy, Pat, and Leslie. I wanted you all to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers in this trying time. I am having a knee replacement the day of the services and will not be able to attend. My sincere condolences are with you all.     My thoughts and prayers are with you Connie, Kathy, Pat, and Leslie. I am so sorry for your loss. I have many fond memories of the time our families spent together when we were growing up. I will not be able to attend the service on Thursday because I am having a knee replacement that day. My deepest sympathy to all of you and sending my love and prayers to you all.
