Condolence from Jeanette Bontrager on April 3rd, 2022 8:41 am

I was sorry to read your mother’s obituary in this morning’s paper. I remember her fondly from my childhood all the way to seeing her at Landis Homes after my parents lived there. My first thought was “she was the sweetest and prettiest lady!” Thinking of you,
Jeanette Noll Bontrager

To all in the Brubaker Family,

I was so saddened to learn of your dear mother’s passing. She was so kind, caring, just a lovely woman who always made the world a better place. She drove my children and many others in our neighborhood to Bible School every summer and we have many cherished memories of her and your whole family. Sending much love, prayers and many healing thoughts to all.
Sharing your sorrow,

Beverly Jordan

Carolene, Glenn, Jeff, Dennis, Gary, Cathy, Dave and Jere-
Bests: Glazed doughnuts, Mint tea, ice cream with Stehman’s greasy yummy potato chips, homemade root beer w/its popping caps; hands in the dirt planting flowers, weeding, tobacco, weeding, vegetables and weeding; boiling potatoes on the stove top, doling out to the kids bushel baskets of sweet corn to husk, green beens to snap, sugar peas to string, limas and peas to hull; a smile and bright blue eyes.

Imagine raising you 6 boys! Carolene and Cathy were perfect.

What cherished memories of life on the farm with you, your mother and dad. I am sorry for your loss.
